My sweet girl. You are growing up on me! I look at you and I see a sweet young woman evolving. I'm blessed to be your Mommy, Laina. I love you very much!

Happy 2nd Birthday Cooper!

We had a fun celebration for Mr. Cooper's second birthday! Laina and I made him some yummy banana oat doggy cookies which he loved and we had some fun presents for him to open. He's a sweet addition to our family and I love watching Laina interact with him. She wore her "best friends" doggy shirt just for Cooper today!

Painting a bed for Emily

As one of our winter break projects I thought it would be fun for Laina to paint a doll cradle from the Mill Store. I had purchased the cradle but brought her out to pick out the paint colors. She chose 6 bright colors. She had a great time painting the cradle and now her dolls Emily and Charlie (the girls as Laina calls them) have a cozy place to sleep at night!

Sledding!

It's a rare day that I actually join in winter fun activities but I wanted to capture Laina's smiles on the sledding trip. She and Joe had a great time at the little hill in the school yard near our house. The hill has only been formed from plowing the massive amounts of snow we've had and its the perfect size hill for Laina to have fun but still feel in control of the speed. She really had a blast.

Lazy New Year's Day

Here are a couple of cute shots of Laina. She loves riding her scooter through our neighborhood and I love the picture of she and Cooper as snug as a bug in a rug on the couch!

New Beginnings

Happy New Year! Joe got up really really early to watch the sun rise on New Year's Day while Laina, Cooper, Max and I slumbered away. He captured some beautiful pictures taken near the river by our house. What a peaceful way to ring in the new year. As part of our New Year's Eve celebration we had a game marathon. Well the marathon continued into New Year's Day and we had so much fun playing so many games! Here's a picture of Laina and Joe playing Sorry our current all time family favorite game!
